I cannot readily comment on how many pieces it is made of I can only describe what I see and use.
KICKSTARTER KRAKEN DICE FULL
In the interest of full disclosure, I have received an already assembled, finalized prototype that was used as an exhibit in conventions, with its interior already dressed in felt. Two rail opening on each side allow it to be locked to the table it accompanies, so that it comfortably and securely rests at its rim. At its bottom the tower is not fully flat. At seven dice per set, that would be 84 (!) dice. When closed, the box can accommodate easily some 12 standard sets of roleplaying dice. Two locks on each left and right-hand side help lock the tower's upper part, thus turning it into a holding box for your dice. From the moment one throws the die to the moment it hits the ground and rests, it will will have touched two different angled platforms. The design lies somewhere between steampunk and that of magic circles. It is black, adorned with geometric shapes and lines in the colour of wood. When closed, the sizes come at 10 cm, almost 10 cm, and just over 17 cm. When opened, the Dice Tower is 21 cm long, almost 10 cm wide and just over 15 cm high. The delivery of the item (along with the table it accompanies) is slated for May 2019. I will be amending the present review, as soon as new information comes out. For the time being the Kraken Dice Tower cannot be purchased separately, it will be however possible to do so later in the kickstarter campaign as well as after the campaign at the EUR 30 mark. The project has already been funded within minutes from its launch, and in the days until its culmination it simply tries to reach the most stretch goals possible. What you get: The Kraken Dice Tower is an element (a 'Tool') of HÜNE Spieltische - Boardgame tables for every day, a project currently on kickstarter up to the 23rd of December. Namely, a dedicated gaming table.īlurb from the publisher: 'HÜNE Spieltische - Boardgame tables for every day and if you don't want a dedicated gaming table, you can always just buy its tools!' Review Summary: A foldable dice tower that becomes a box, while also being an accompanying accessory of a much bigger project.
